Ten Apples Up on Top

The lion put one apple, then two apples, then he put one more on his head. The dog threw something at the tree and two more apples fell on his head. The tiger jumped up and kept throwing apples on his head. I like when the tiger comes out of the tree with five apples on his head. Then the tiger walks on a wire with more apples on his head and he never fell! Children learning how to count will like this story.
