This book is about Wodney Wat. Wodney Wat could not say his R's right. When he went to school, the other rodents laughed at Wodney when he said Wodney Wat. The other rodents laughed at him. All the days of teasing made him the shyest rodent in school. He eats his lunch alone at recess. Wodney hides under his jacket all recess. One day as the other rodents took turns doing wheelies, a new rodent , a very large rodent, barged into the classroom. She said, "I'm bigger than any of you. I'm meaner than any of you. And I'm smarter than any of you. So there." I can't tell you any more. To find out more about Wodney Wat you have to check out the book.
My favorite part is when Wodney says, "Simon says, go west." She felt she was smarter than any of them, and she said, "I'm smarter than any of you. I can tell which way is west because the sun goes down in the west." I liked the pictures. I liked how it showed how Camilla busted through the door, and tore up the P.S. 142 Elementary School for Rodents sign and she was covered in dirt up to her teeth. The mean Camilla reminds me of my sister because she was always mean to me and stuff when she was 9 and 10 years old.
I think 8, 9, and 10 year olds should read this book because it is really funny and has really good pictures, and really good expressions.
