The Last Kids on Earth and the Zombie Parade

This is the second book in the Last Kids on Earth Series. In this book Jack and his friends are the last kids on earth. There was a zombie apocalypse while they were at the mall and they were just trying to live. The characters in this book are Jack, June, Quint, and Dirk. Thrull is a monster who tricks Jack into releasing a very bad monster into the world. In part of the book Thrull gave Jack the bestiary to finish. This is a book of monsters. The bestiary has part of DNA from every monster. Thrull wants to finish the book so he can let the Tree Beast free. Jack did not realize that Thrull was bad until he and his friends snuck up on him and then they realized Thrull was trying to help the mean Tree Beast. If Jack finished the book he was going to free this very evil monster, Rezzoch ("the tree beast) If Rezzoch gets free he would eat all the other monsters. Thrull helped the evil Rezzoch get free and then they merged. Read on to see which monsters merged together. Will Jack, June, Dirk, Quint, and all the monsters defeat Rezzoch? Or, will Rezzoch get what he wants?

My favorite part is when they were at the mall and Jack saw a costume that he really wanted. I thought that was cool. I felt a little sad because they all never saw their family's and that made me feel a little sad. I wonder if they would ever see their family's again. I felt like jack was interesting because he always wants to go on these crazy quests. He wanted to go on quests that could kill them. I would recommend this book to people who like monsters and zombies because this book is mostly about Zombies and monsters. I think the end of the story would interest readers. The setting is the whole town. I like the writing of the story because I think the author did really good and this book kept my interest and it still does. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
