The Beast in Ms. Rooney's Room

Can you imagine being left back in school? Well, The Beast in Ms. Rooney’s Room by Patricia Reilly Giff is about a boy named Richard that gets left back in second grade. First, Richard was sad that he was left back. He missed his old friends. Then the school’s bully Drake Evans teases him about being left back. Later on, Richard starts to get along with his class and starts reading with Mrs. Paris. Richard’s new class wants to win the banner for the week. You will have to read more to find out if they win the banner.

I like the book The Beast in Ms. Rooney Room by Patricia Reilly Giff. I like the character Richard Best [Beast] because he is funny silly and positive. One time… Another reason the illustrations are cool. They are cartoonish and funny. Also this book is about believing in you self like when he called first base but Drake Evens got it. In closing, I think the book The Beast Mrs. Rooney Room is the BEST.

I think people ages 7-9 should read this book. Do you like fiction books? Well, then the book The Beast in Ms. Rooney’s Room . I rate this book 9 out of 10 because it’s funny and silly. When Richard was hurt at the gym he went to the nurse. He was thinking about going back to gym, but there were raisins in the nurse’s office, but gym was his favorite class. All in all, I think The Beast in Ms. Rooney’s Room is the best book ever!
