There were ducks named Mr. and Mrs. Mallard. They were looking for a place to raise their family. They found a place to lay their eggs near the water. Then the shed their feathers. Mrs. Mallard laid eight eggs. She named them Jack, Kack, Lack, Mack, Nack, Quack, Pack, and Quack. Finally they found the perfect home on a little island in Boston.
My favorite part of the story is when they named their ducks because all of the ducklings names rhyme. My favorite characters are all of the ducklings because they are so cute. This story relates to my life because it remind me of my family and when we were looking for the perfect home. This story has pictures and they help show what is happening in the story.
I think others should read this story because it makes you think of your family and important they are.
