One day there was a girl named Rachel. She wanted a dog from her dad. She wanted the best dog he had. Her dad gave her the dog and she named it Silver. One day she came home and didn't see Silver. So she went to look for him. What happened to Rachel? Read the book to find out.
I like the book because the dad is nice to give Rachel the dog. My favorite character is Silver because he is a very brave dog. For example, he wasn't scared when Rachel went to go look for him. He was brave to walk through the snow and creepy trees. This book is not part of a series. It is similar to other books because in other books people lose things, such as Junie B. Jones.
People will like this book if they like dogs and children aged 9 years old.
