Hi! My name is Noah and I just read The Heart of Champion by Carl Dukler. It was amazing. Well, not just amazing, it was AAMMAAZZIINNGG!!!

The story is about 2 boys, Seth and Jimmy. Seth Barham is the main character. I can identify with this character because he always tries to do the right thing and works very hard. I too always try to keep the peace and do the right thing while giving my all.

In the story, one of the boys is amazing at baseball and one is getting there. He needs more practice and his friend helps him. These two boys are best friends and are on the varsity baseball team in high school. Throughout the story they go through a lot of things together and experience a lot of emotions. For example, Seth loses his dad and his best friend. This part made me feel sad.

The book kind of reminds me of someone I used to know. I had a wonderful friend who loved baseball but passed away. While reading this book, I was reminded of my friend and it brought back some old feelings. My favorite part is when one of the boys finally makes the baseball team. This happens because he worked very hard and improved, which I admire.

Baseball is the theme and Dukler keeps y our attention throughout the whole story. If you like sports and drama, check this book out.

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!
