Deena the Damselfly started her life as a nymph living in a pond with her friends. She was determined to solve the mystery of why nymphs disappeared and never returned when they reach a certain age. Deena promised her nymph friends when she reached that age, she would solve the mystery and return to the pond to tell them what it was.
One day Deena started to feel strange. She knew she had reached that certain age. What was happening to Deena? Did she solve the mystery and return to the pond to tell her friends? You'll have to read the book to find out!
I liked this book because it had beautiful illustrations. The illustrations were very colorful. My favorite part was when Deena turned into a Damselfly. She was so ugly as a nymph and so pretty as a Damselfly. This was a fun book to read. It was easy for me to read and understand.
I would recommend this book to all young readers. They can read it on their own or have an adult read it to them. Try it!
