We Dream of a World

Did you ever wonder how many people starve and how many ways there are to help them? Every page in this book states a problem about something in the world and possible solutions. Some of the problems are conflicts between people, education, hunger, and pollution. Some ways to help these problems, for example, for pollution you can car pool, write letters to your congressmen, and buy products that are ecologically friendly. This book is by gifted and talented students in a school in Missouri. They did a terrific job. This book won in the Kids are Authors competition. Also, at the very end of the book, it lets you think of a way to help the world. We noticed that in the illustrations, on the left page is a shadow of the right page illustration. Also, there is a special font for each topic.

We like the book because we like learning about different ways to help the world that we didn't know about. Our favorite page was the page about peace because we know a lot about peace because our class wrote an essay about peace and won first place. We were very surprised at how good the illustrations were. The book reminded us of when we were writing our essay. We think that the lesson in this book is that there are a lot of problems in the world and that we should try to help them.

We recommend this book to people who like helping out a lot because this book is about helping the world out in small ways. You may like this book if you want to find ways to help the world. We recommend this book to people of any age because there are great ways to help the world no matter how old you are. We like the book because we like learning things that we didn't know about. It also has great pictures.
