Danny, Champion of the World

This book is about Danny and his father. His father had an oil station and Danny doesn’t go to school until he is seven. Danny’s father wants Danny to learn to fix a car before he goes to school. At the oil station, Danny meets a mean man named Mr. Hazel. This book is about Danny on a journey to save Hazel Woods from Mr. Hazel’s pheasant party! Will the scheme work? Will Danny make Mr. Hazel mad? Find out in Danny the Champion of the World.

I like this book because Danny is eight years old and I’m now eight years old. My opinion of this book is it is a great thriller and it is an adventurous book beyond your wildest dreams. It is so amazing because they scheme to save Hazel Woods.

This book is best for children seven years old and up. If you like this book, you would love other Roald Dahl books.
