This story is about a mouse named Doctor De Soto. He was a dentist who had to stand on a ladder to work on larger animals. One day a fox came in with a toothache. Doctor De Soto was surprised when he saw a brown tooth in the fox's mouth. His wife held a rope and they pulled out the tooth. The fox wanted to eat the De Sotos, but he just went home. Doctor De Soto formed a plan so the fox wouldn't eat him next time. Did the fox eat Doctor De Soto? You will have to read the story to find out.
I loved when Doctor De Soto looked inside the pig's mouth. It reminded me of when my dog was chasing a mouse. I liked how the author wrote the words and drew the pictures. Doctor De Soto reminds me of my uncle because my uncle is an animal doctor.
I highly recommend this funny book to people that like to laugh. You will laugh when Doctor De Soto goes into the fox's mouth! I also think you should read this book because it has great pictures.
