Have you heard of a teacher that puts a love potion in a water fountain? Read the twentieth book of Dan Gutman's My Weird School Series and you will see what will happen. In Mr. Louie is Screwy, A.J. hates school. Mr. Louie is a crossing guard. Do you know what is weird about him? Mr. Louie uses his guitar as a stop sign and it says stop on it. And A.J., the other main character, hates love. Mr. Louie does love stuff like when kids go to the auditorium, the teachers do a song about love and Mr. Louie says, "Feel the Love!" and "groovy!" Michael and Ryan, A.J.’s friends from school, drink from the water fountain. It has a love potion! Mr. Louie put the love potion in it. Andrea, a girl in A.J.'s class, she has curly brown hair, and A.J. hates Andrea so, so much! So when A.J. drinks the love potion... A.J. kisses Andrea! In the book there is a secret! If you want to know you have to read the book.
In Mr. Louie is Screwy, my favorite part is when A.J. drinks the love potion which is in the water fountain. He and his friends drink the water. Then after that he and his friends spits the water out. A.J. goes to Andrea and he kisses her! It is strange because, A.J. hates Andrea so, so, much! I liked it because it is weird. It has some jokes too!
The characters are interesting because… A.J. hates everything in school. By everything in school, I mean math, reading, and sharing. It is unusual and, of course, he hates Andrea. Mr. Louie is interesting because… He uses a guitar as a stop sign. He likes love because he is like a love teacher. It is weird. Do you want to hear something? It is probably weird because it is called My Weird School.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes funny books, weird books, and hilarious books. There are also tricks too! I recommend this book because it is funny, cool, and good. It has funny pictures. If you like weird books you can read this book and the series. There are 21 books in this series.
