The Little Red Hen has some seeds and she plants them in her fields. She wants her friends to help her out with the work. The Goose, the Cat and the Dog do not want to help her. So she does all the work herself. At the end, she has a yummy treat, but does not share it with her friends.
I didn't like this book. I think the Red Hen should have shared with her friends. I would have shared with my friends. I did like the pictures in the book. I liked all the colors the illustrator used.
I do not recommend this book. I think the animals should have all gotten along and shared because they are all friends. I think you would like the book if you like bright colorful pictures.
