On a farm in Jericho, there lived a boy named Willie Bentey that loved snow and snowflakes more than anything else in the world. He was so interested in snow that he wanted to show others how beautiful it was. But how was he going to show the beauty of snow? He found an ad in the paper for a camera. If you want to find out all the interesting things he does with the camera you should read this book.
We thought that the pictures were so good that they could tell the story by themselves. We think that Jacqueline Briggs Martin and Mary Azarian are a great group! Our favorite part was when Willie found the ad in the paper. The first time we read it we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to read it again and again. This book won the Caldecott Award in 1999.
We recommend this book to anyone that admires biographies, nature, photography and history because it has a little bit of everything. We think you should read this book because each time you?ll enjoy it more.
