This story is about a woman who is a housekeeper for Mr. and Mrs. Rogers. She gets fired from her job because she keeps doing funny things like putting cereal in a cup of tea and heating a can of soup while it was still in the can. She also files papers with a fingernail file and stamps letters with her foot prints. Will Amelia Bedelia get a new job, and will Mrs. Rogers get a new maid? Find out by reading the book Come Back, Amelia Bedelia.
I liked this book because Amelia Bedelia does funny things. My favorite part was when Amelia Bedelia put a can on a pan to cook. Amelia Bedelia changed because at first she wasn't funny but in the end of the story she was funnier. Mrs. Rogers is a character who reminds me of my big sister telling me I'm fired. When she tells me to wash the dishes and I was the floor instead, my sister says, "You're fired, missy."
I recommend this book because it is interesting and very funny. I think girls and boys should read this book. The interesting thing about this story is when Amelia Bedelia gets fired and she gets other jobs.
