There once was a white duck that had bad luck. The duck lived on a farm and he had to do all of the work. He took care of a lazy, fat farmer. The farmer didn't do any work. The duck had to feed the farmer, take care of all the animals on the farm, and do all of the chores on the farm. The sheep, the cow, and the hens got very upset because the duck did all of the work and the duck looked very tired. So the other animals made up a plan to help the duck. The plan was great! What are the animals going to do? What is their plan? Read this book to find out what plan the animals made up. You will be surprised!
This book reminds me of Cinderella. The duck had to do all of the work in this story and Cinderella had to do all of the work in her story.
In the beginning of the story, I felt sad because the duck had to do all of the work by himself. At the end of the story, I felt happy because the other animals helped the duck with all of the work and the farmer was gone!
I liked this book because I was happy when the duck didn't have to do all of the chores by himself anymore.
This is a great book to read because it teaches us a lesson. We should not be lazy and make others do all of the work. We should help others and not let them do the work by themselves. We should share the work.
