A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning

This book is very sad. It does not have a happy ending or beginning. The book is about three children whose parents die in a fire. The children's names are Violet, Klause and Sunny. These children are forced to live with an evil godfather. He does a lot of bad stuff, like trying to get the children's fortune. I did not like this book in one way and I liked it in another way. I did not like it in one way because it was sad. But I liked it in another way because the children get to live in better place. I would still like to read another book, though, so I could see what it turns out to be like at the end of the series. I only felt sorry for Justice Strauss. The children are very nice and I think they deserve better. I don't think some people would like this book because it is sad. But other people may like it. If you like reading sad books, then this book is for you. If you are kind of person who likes happy endings, you may or may not like this book. The ending is sort of sad. I think everyone would think the ending is interesting, though, because you find out what may happen to the children.
