Goodly, Lovely, Angel, Neatly, and Perfect are really graceful penguins, but Tacky is rough, silly, and likes to sing nonsense songs. I would feel sorry for penguins if hunters were coming to catch them, but something very funny happens in this book when hunters come to Antarctica to catch these six penguins. They come with locks and cages and nets and branches. Goodly, Lovely, Angel, Neatly, and Perfect hide behind a huge block of ice, but Tacky wants to help his companions.
This book is extremely funny because Tacky is an odd bird but nice to have around. This book has great illustrations because they are colorful. I think this book is colored with colored pencils and water colors which looks very beautiful My favorite part is when Tacky proves the hunters wrong. For example, when Tacky proves the hunters wrong, they run away. Tacky is my favorite character because he does the exact opposite of his companions. For example, when his companions dive gracefully, he likes to do splashy cannon balls.
This is a fun fiction book and is very easy to read. You can go to your local library and pick up this book. If you want to find out what happens to Tacky and his companions, pick up this book!
