I think the story was good because there was a girl named Madeline. She had a dog named Genevieve. There were 12 girls all in two straight lines. The 12 girls had a dog, then at night they fought for the dog. Then Lord Cucuface said that the dog (Genevieve) had to go. Then Genevieve gets sad. Then he runs away. Then they look for her here and there.
We think the lesson that the book is trying to teach is to care and share with each other. So if you want to find out what happened to Genevieve read this magnificent book.
We liked the illustrations and thought they were old but pretty. We recommend this book to anyone that likes problem solving, and to people that want to be surprised. So we think this is a good book for you!
