Nighty-Nightmare

I guess that what the characters of this book "didn't know couldn't hurt them", right? Wrong! If they only knew what would become of their camping trip! When this unfortunate night begins we find Mr. Monroe and Harold, his dog, on Boggy Lake fishing. They meet two men named Bud and Spud and their dog, Dawg. Unfortunately, it starts to rain while they're on a hike with the campers, and Dawg leads Harold off the trail. Now they are nowhere near Mr. Monroe when it starts to rain! Will they survive in the storm? Can they save Mr. Monroe while they're trying to survive?

I think this book is a good one because it has a lot of cliffhangers to make you want to continue to read. I liked it because of all the suspense and the humor in Harold and Howie. I think that Harold is like me because we don't always believe what Chester says. Mostly he says things that are crazy. My favorite part was when Harold put his canine nose to use. I think that showed Chester that dogs can be useful. This book is part of a series called Bunnicula. Every book has something about the rabbit, Bunnicula, in it.

I would recommend this book because it has a lot of adventure and suspense. At one point in the book it gets so exciting that it'll have you jumping up and down. The book is also funny. The comments and thoughts are hilarious! I couldn't put the book down! I think that boys and girls would like this book. The main character is a boy but girls could like it for other reasons, like the adventure.
