This story is about two kids named Digory and Polly. They spend their time exploring their houses. They get magic rings from Uncle Andrew. They touch the rings and they go to different worlds. They go to a world, and meet Queen Jadis. She is mean and she escapes from her world. Digory's mother is very sick. He feeds her an apple to help her get well. Will she ever get better? Will Queen Jadis ever go to her world? Read the book to find out.
I thought that the story was very magical, because it had a ring that took you to different places. There were puddles that took you to other worlds. My favorite part was when they went to a puddle and there was nothing in the new world. So Aslan began to sing and everything began to grow. The character that I found most interesting was Digory because he was very brave. When I read the book I feelt very happy, and magical.
I think those who would like this book are people who like magical books because there is a lot of magic.
