This book is about flat Stanley. Stanley was flat because of the bulletin board that fell on him. In the story Stanley and his brother went to the park. At the park everyone who was there was flying a kite, but not Arthur. So Stanley let Arthur fly him. At the middle of the story, Stanley?s mom dropped a ring in a hole and Stanley found it. At the museum, the sneak thieves were stealing pictures from the famous museum. Stanley wasn?t there until one day. Stanley had to stay up all night so he had to take a long nap. Then when it was time to go, he went. When he was at the famous museum, Stanley had to stand in a picture frame. Then he caught the thieves. He got blown up at the end of the story by his brother Arthur.
My favorite part of this book was when a bulletin board dropped on Stanley. Then he got flat. I liked it because it was exciting. I liked Arthur Lambchop and his brother Stanley Lambchop. I liked them because Arthur was jealous and Stanley was funny. Arthur was jealous of Stanley because he was flat and he could fit under doors. Stanley was funny in the middle of the story when he had to take a map and get mailed to his friend?s house. The story reminds me of my little sister because Arthur bosses Stanley around and she tries to boss me around.
I recommend Flat Stanley because it is a very good book and kids like these Flat Stanley books. I think 7 to 10 years old and up could read this book and would like this book.
