In this book, the main character, Harry Potter, is rescued by Ron Weasley from the Dursley's home. When it?s time to go to Hogwarts School, they can?t get through the wall that you walk through to get to the train. There is bloody writing on the walls and Harry hears voices in the walls. Hermione Granger is a mud-blood so she is petrified. Finally, Ginny Weasley is taken into the Chamber and so Harry and Ron have to save her, Hermione, and all the petrified children or they will die. (As in Hermione, Ginny, and the petrified ones.) Will Harry and Ron ever make it out of the Chamber? Will Ginny and Hermione make it out alive? Will Harry be a savior or a killer? Yes, I love this book because of all the action and drama. My favorite part is when Harry saves Ginny Weasley because it is wonderful that she lives. Hermione reminds me of myself because she is always putting up with problems and is very smart. All the characters look different this year and talk different. This book, the second book in the series, is pretty scary compared to the other books in the series.
I recommend this book to ages eight and up because it has a lot of adventure and excitement. You should read the book of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
