This book is about a cat in a hat. The cat has a red and white hat. He comes inside the house when the boy and girl are alone. Their mother is gone for the day. He makes a big mess. Then they see their mother coming home. She is close to the house. They have to get rid of the cat and get rid of the mess. Read this book to find out if they can do that before their mother gets home.
I didn't like when Thing One and Thing Two messed things up in the house. They were very bad, and they were going to get the boy and girl in trouble. I liked the cat. He had a lot of good ideas. He was good at cleaning up his messes. It reminded me of when I make messes in my house and I have to clean them up. I thought Dr. Seuss had a lot of funny pictures in this story. I liked the pictures of the fish the best.
I recommend this book to kids of all ages. Most kids would like it because most kids don't like to get into trouble. It is a good book about that.
