Rowan and the Keeper of the Crystal

Rowan is a 12 year old boy who has many adventures and is about to have another. Rowan and his mother have been called to another village to choose the next Keeper of the Crystal. The Crystal is a special stone that gives its keeper the power to see the future and protect the people of the village. When his mother is poisoned, Rowan must figure out the antidote while traveling with three strangers. Each of the strangers wants to be chosen as the new Keeper. This adventure keeps you wanting to read it and the rest of the series.

I liked this book because there was lots of action and adventure. It has lots of riddles to figure out. My favorite part was when they were making the antidote because there was a lot of action! Rowan and the Keeper of the Crystal is like other books by the author because there is adventure with the same characters. This book is similar to others in the series because Rowan has some special connection with animals and he is good at solving riddles to save his village.

I recommend this book to people who like adventure series. Lots of kids would like this book. The characters are really kindhearted, brave, and clever. Even though he is the youngest and small, he is smart and a natural born leader! I highly recommend this book.
