Hardball

Hardball is a book about a man who is in a little trouble. He gets a job coaching a baseball team in the projects. Throughout the book he has speed bumps along his trail. This book has a surprise ending which I thought was great. You will have to read it to find out what happens at the end.

My favorite part was when Miles did his dance before he pitched, because he dances funny. The coach changed from a mean stubborn gambler to a goodhearted baseball coach. One of the saddest parts is when one of the little brothers got shot. I found Miles interesting because he kind of reminded me of myself because I also like baseball.

I recommend this book because it is a good book with a weird twist. I think anybody who likes baseball should pick up a copy today. This book is interesting to read because of the way the book is planned out and the characters are hilarious and serious in some parts. So pick up the book. It is a grand slam in my park.
