Fantastic Mr. Fox is about Mr. Fox stealing Boggis' chickens, Bunces' duck-and-goose, and Beans' turkeys. Mr. Fox takes them home to his wife and four children, but when Boggis, Bunce, and Bean find out that every night the fox comes and steals one of their animals, they try to kill Mr. Fox and his family once and for all. You must read the book to see if they succeed.
My favorite part was when Mr. Fox was trying to get away from the crazy men that were trying to kill him because it really made me laugh. This story reminds me of a real story I heard about a fox that came where some children were attending school. It hurt some of the children. My favorite character was Mr. Fox because he was always trying to take care of his wife and family. I liked the book because it was a fiction story than was sort of like a fairy tale and I have always loved a good fairy tale.
I recommend this book to people who like crazy action and funny pictures. I think this book would be appropriate for five years and up because the vocabulary is rather easy to read. If you like foxes you would like this book. However, if you don't like foxes you wouldn't like the people in the book like Boggis' Bunces' and Beans'. If you read this book you would never, ever won't to put it down.
