The Berenstain Bears and the Homework Hassle

This book is about Brother Bear, a bear who doesn't do his homework. All he does is watch T.V. Soon his parents find a letter about how badly he has been doing in school. They want to find out why he hasn't been doing his homework. He tells them that he always has too much homework to do. Papa Bear, his Dad, asks him what homework he has for the day, but instead of doing it, he is watching T.V. and talking on the cell phone. Will he get grounded? How will the problem be solved?

When I read this book, Brother Bear reminded me of myself. Sometimes I don't do my homework like Brother Bear and then I have a lot to do at one time.

This book is like fables. Both teach you a lesson. The lesson is to do your homework when you're suppose to. Otherwise, you'll have so much homework to do all at once. Then you wouldn't have time to do the things that you really like.

This book is part of the Berenstain Bears series. Most of the Berenstain Bears books teach you a lesson. When you read these books you can learn to be honest, to include others, to spend your money wisely, or many other lessons.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has trouble with homework. It will show you why it's important to do your homework on time. I would also recommend the other Berenstain Bears books because you can learn a lot of good lessons from them. A good reader in the second grade or older could read any of these book on his/her own.
