Jack and Annie are the main characters. They get captured by pirates. They go to an island that is shaped like a whale to look for a treasure. Guess what they do to the treasure? They leave it! Find out why they thought it was worth it to leave it behind.
I learned that pirates needed to be able to read back then. Jack and Annie had to read the treasure map for Captain Bones because he couldn?t read. My favorite part is when they go in the magic tree house and it spins around and around and then it stops. This book is one of a series and this part happens in every book. I like Jack and Annie because of all their adventures. I still remember the first one where they get chased by a T-Rex.
I recommend this book to second graders and up. You will have a super time because it?s magic.
