This book is about a boy that plants a carrot seed. His family said that it would not grow. The boy kept on taking care of the seed eventhough his family said it wouldn't grow. He pulled the weeds and watered the seed. You will have to read the book to find out what happens to his seed.
This story reminded us of when we planted seeds in Kindergarten. I (J.J.) think the book is interesting because it tells you how to plant things. I (A.T.) liked that it had a surprise ending. We liked how the illustrator made the pictures kind of like cartoons.
We give this book a thumbs up. Maybe people that are planting things would like to read this book.
