The Signmaker's Assistant

The old signmaker did the finest job around the town. He had an assistant who use to help him do most of the work. They both did signs for restaurants, and stores. The assistant was learning to do all the signs and he was getting better and better at it. But one day he took advantage of this and started making sings such as ?Deposit your money here?, ?No school today? and everyone started to follow all the signs.

I really like this book for all the different signs that the assistant did and how everyone in the town were following them. My favorite part in this book is when they wrote the sign ?No school today? and no one was going to school. My favorite character is the sign maker because he was really smart and creative.

I think everyone should read this book because it is really funny and colorful. I think the kind of reader that would like this book are people who like art.
