Nate Great Goes Down in the Dumps

This book is about a boy named Nate the Great. He is a detective. He solves cases by himself with his dog Sludge. The case he is working on is looking for a box that has Rosamond?s name on it. He finds all kinds of boxes, but not the right one. If you want to find out if he finds the box, then read this book and find out.

I think the illustrations were funny because Marc Simont, the illustrator, drew funny illustrations on most of the pages, like when Claude tripped over the tuna fish cans. My favorite character is Nate the Great because he solves cases for people. My favorite part is when Claude puts the crate on Rosamond?s box and they did not know the whole time until Nate the Great thought of it.

I recommend this book to people who like mysteries. You will want to read this book because Nate the Great solves funny cases.
