There once was a boy named Nick Allen. He was a mean boy. He got everybody in trouble by saying, "Frindle". The big idea was that he named a pen Frindle. Read the story to find out what happened when he got in trouble with his teacher.

My favorite part was when he got famous and made his friend mad. I liked this part of the book because it made me laugh. This book reminded me of my brother because my brother, Brandon, talks to stuff. The wonderful details made pictures in my mind, like the picture of the pen, and more stuff. This was a terrific book with fun details that are fun to fill your mind. Read this book, it was great. I wondered what the book would be about because the title wasn't giving the whole story away like some titles do.

I recommend this book to second, third, fourth graders and my brother because it is good for all ages. The words are easy and it has good descriptions if you like to talk to pens.
