The day Chrysanthemum was born, her mom and dad named her. She grew older and older. She loved when her mom and dad called her name. She loved when she whispered her name in the mirror. She loved when her name was written in ink. She loved when her name was written on her cake. She also loved her name written with her fat orange crayon.
My favorite part of the story was when Chrysanthemum dragged her feet in the dirt and made her name. My least favorite character is Victoria, because she is mean to Chrysanthemum.
This book relates to my life because the day I was born was the happiest day in my mom and dad's lives. The pictures in the story were good and help me to understand the book.
I think people should read this book because you learn that you shouldn't call people names.
