Charlotte's Web

This book is about a pig named Wilbur. Wilbur wanted a friend to play with. He met a spider named Charlotte. She was very kind and friendly. She saved Wilbur by writing words in her web that described Wilbur. Then Wilbur saved Charlotte's babies. It is sad but it is worth reading.

I think the book is terrific. It had some funny parts like when Wilbur tried to weave a web. It had some sad parts like when Charlotte died and no one was there when she died. It was a good book. It was both sad and funny. I liked the pictures, too. They really showed what the characters looked like.

I think 4th graders and up should read it. It had some hard words in it you probably cannot read but you could look them up in the dictionary. At the end, it is very sad but I'll let you read it because if I tell you the ending you won't want to read this terrific book.
