The story is about a baby monster who is describing how much his monster mom loves him. He goes on to tell about the hairy hugs, tickling of his toes, she brushes his fangs and so on. When he's sick his monster mama gives him lizard juice with ice. She takes him to swim in the swamp like my mom does in the pool and she supports him at his beastball games by clapping when he wins and roars his name. And when humans like me come out she shows him how to disappear. She reads to him and strolls through the park at night and she sings lullaby songs to him at bedtime.
I like this book because it reminds me of my mama hugging me and I like that and all the things she does for me like humans do.
I definitely recommend this book because the illustrations are adorable and very colorful. It's also very funny because the monsters have three eyes sticking out and the book has a lot of yucky things in it. Good for ages 3-6. So read this book!!!
