This story is about a chameleon that always changes colors. One day he saw a zoo. "He never saw so many beautiful animals before." First, the chameleon meets a polar bear. He wishes he could be a polar bear because he wants to be strong just like a polar bear. He still wasn't happy. He wished he was like the other animals. Later on he was very mixed up. He had two flamingo legs, a fox's tail, fins, antlers, a long neck, a shell, an elephant's head, and a seal's flipper. He also had an umbrella and a hat. When he saw a fly he started to get hungry. If you want to know if the chameleon caught the fly try to catch the book.
The moral of the story is that you should be happy with who you are. You should also be careful for what you wish for.
We think this story is funny because he turns into each animal that he meets at the zoo. I think it is good because it has good illustrations. Gamze's favorite part is the pictures and the chameleon because the chameleon is cute. Joyce's favorite part is when he sees the zoo because he was surprised. The writing style is interesting because it was all in italics. We felt happy when we read this book and maybe you will too.
We recommend this book to kindergartners, first graders, and second graders. They should read this book because it is funny. They would enjoy seeing the chameleon change into a little bit of every animal.
