Have you ever made a gingerbread man? Well, in the story The Gingerbread Man this little old woman and a little old man decided to make a gingerbread man because they were lonely. While it was baking, the gingerbread man popped out of the oven and ran away. Did the gingerbread man get away or did the old man and the little old woman eat the gingerbread man? Find out when you read The Gingerbread Man.
I thought that this book was not going to be interesting because the first sentence was not funny. The first sentence said "Lets make a gingerbread man." That didn't get my attention. I kept reading the book but it didn't really get better.
This book made me think that it would be fun if I made a gingerbread man and it would come to life. That would be weird.
I would recommend this book to someone who likes adventure stories but there's probably better books out there. I think that children ages four and up might like this book better than older kids. This story is strange.
