Have you ever been on an adventure that you'll never forget? James has. It all starts out with a boy living on a beach with everything he wants. A mom, a dad, what else could he need? Then it all falls apart.
James is now living on a tall hill with his aunts, one plump, one tall and skinny, and both mean. James was terrified of his aunts - remember- he is very young. Then a surprise happened. That surprise soon made a growing giant peach and that led to happiness!
James met some friends inside the peach. These friends were bugs. This is when the adventure really starts!
I think this book is great because of the adventure that takes place. My favorite character is the centipede because he is always worried about all the feet he has.
The special thing about this book is that you don't know what's going to happen next - you have to keep guessing.
I recommend this book to people who like to read a lot, laugh a lot and to people who like adventures.
