The lazy bird was hatching an egg when Horton came along, and Horton said, "May I sit on the egg?". So the lazy bird said, "Okay, but do not go anywhere." So Horton did not go anywhere.
I liked the part when Horton froze, it was funny. It made me sad, because Horton went through a snow blizzard and a rainstorm. My favorite part is when Horton hatches the egg. It is a Horton bird. My favorite character is Horton, because he was the funniest.
I recommend this book to kids in kindergarden to sixth grade, and if you like Dr. Seusss, you would like it.
