The Gingerbread Man

This book is about the gingerbread man and all of the hungry people and animals running for the tasty and fresh made gingerbread man. In the story when the people all run the gingerbread man repeats silly words, "Run! Run! Fast as you can! You can't catch me! I'm the Gingerbread Man!" In the end the gingerbread man was eaten by the fox because the fox pretended he couldn't hear what the gingerbread man was repeating. Suddenly when the gingerbread man was not looking the fox gobbled him up with one bite. He didn't leave a crumb for anybody. I (Yolie) like this book because I like making cookies. This book reminded me of when my sister and I were running from a skunk. We like the illustrations because they make us feel like we are in the pictures and part of the story. I (David) recommend this book to readers who like tasty things and running away from their friends. I (Yolie) recommend this book to people who like to eat gingerbread men.
