Did you ever want something so badly that you begged for it? The girl in the book wants earrings very badly. She complained to her mom and dad that she was the only girl in her class without earrings. She keeps begging all the time. The girl will do anything to get the earrings. She will clean her room, be nice to her brother, and read a book for a whole year. Her mom and dad tell her that she has to wait until she's older. The girl wants to wear earrings all the time. Her mom and dad asked her what she wanted for her birthday. She said, "Earrings!" Read this book to find out if she ever gets earrings.
You will like the illustrations because they are beautiful and colorful. When you read this book you will love it.
We like this book because the girl thinks about jewelry. So do we.
Brittany: I like the book because I like jewelry. My favorite part was when the girl kept asking for the earrings even though her parents said, "No". I keep asking for things that I really want even if my parents say no.
Cari: I liked the book because I think about jewelry too. My favorite part was when the girl said she was the only one in the solar system that didn't have earrings. I liked it because I know how the girl feels. When you want something badly you always think you're the only one without it.
We think that boys and girls would like this book. If you ever really wanted something you should read this book. If you want something badly you can try to save your money instead of begging your parents.
