This story is about three farmers who want to kill the fox because he bothers the three farmers. One night, Mr. Fox took a chicken from the farm. One of the farmers shoots off his tail. He goes home and his children wake up. His wife asks, "Are you okay?" He answers, "No, it stings!" So Mr. Fox gets revenge against the farmers. He digs a hole and the farmers get trapped. At the end, all the animals celebrate. If you want to know more, read Fantastic Mr. Fox.
My favorite part of this book is when Mr. Fox stole the chicken so he could have a date with his wife. I felt sorry for him when he got his tail shot off. I was thinking about how that must have hurt Mr. Fox. It reminded me of when my brother kicked me and I got hurt badly and cried.
I recommend this book to everybody my age. This book is exciting because Mr. Fox really got revenge. Did you know that Mr. Fox really is a nice guy because he was trying to help all the animals?!
