Boys Against Girls

Have you ever heard of an abaguchie? Well, in this book, Wally Hatford told Caroline that a skeleton was found in the Oldakers bookstore. Wally said it was found years ago. Wally thinks boys are smarter than girls. Caroline thinks that girls are smarter than boys. Caroline will prove it and go down to the Oldakers bookstore. Wally tries to foil her plan. Do they ever find a real abaguchie? To find out more, get Boys Against Girls.

My favorite part of the story is when Caroline went down the cellar at the Oldaker's bookstore. Then Wally trapped her so she wouldn't get out. That was my favorite part because it reminded me of my sister and me. For example, when my sister trapped me in the restroom. It also reminded me of when I stole my sister's stuff and she tricked me and trapped me outside in my backyard.

I thought the book was very good because the Malloys and the Hatfords kept doing tricks on each other. For example, when the Malloy girls went to their backyard and made tracks of fake abaguchie to trick Wally. That reminded me of scaring my sister whenever I go past her room. I scare her by creeping behind her back and then I would shout booo!

I recommend this book to people who like comedy. If you like Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, then you should check out the rest of the books in the series.
