Nick Allen went to 5th grade at Lincoln Elementary. Nick made up a new word, "frindle". His teacher, Mrs.Granger, liked the dictionary. They were fighting over whether "frindle" was a word or not. To find out who won the war, read the book.
I liked this book because it was interesting by how Nick made up a brand new word. My favorite part was what happened to the word frindle at the end of the book. I liked it because Nick was happy about what happened to the word, and so was Mrs. Granger. The illustrations were neat because they were really drawn well. They showed how the characters looked just like the book said.
I recommend this book to another person. It is a good book to read. Kids should be 9 or 10 to read this book because it's a chapter book.
