Henry wanted a friend but didn't have one so he gets to get a puppy. Henry names his puppy Mudge. The puppy gets very, very, very big. Mudge follows Henry to school every day. One day Mudge got lost and Henry went looking for him. Henry was so happy when he finally found Mudge.
I liked the way Mudge became Henry's friend. They did lots of things together. I would like to have a pet like Mudge. I like to read all the Henry and Mudge books. Henry and Mudge always have fun together.
If you like dogs you will really like this book.
