Heidi Heckelbeck and the Cookie Contest

In Heidi Heckelbeck and the Cookie Contest by Wanda Coven, Heidi put a very magical spell on her cookies but has no idea what kind of cookie to make. In the beginning of the story when Heidi came home from school, she told her mom that now she is in a cookie contest. But when Heidi went up to her bedroom she had no idea what kind of cookie to make. So, when Heidi made her cookies, she put a spell on the cookies but with really weird ingredients. At the cookie contest, the judges literally almost threw up, and that was how good and bad they were. But did the judges almost throw up because they were so good or were they so bad that they almost threw up? Read the book to find out!

Heidi Heckelbeck and the Cookie Contest is a great book to read. Heidi Heckelbeck is a great character in the story because she shows a lot of perseverance. In the story, Heidi keeps on trying to make her cookies much better. The illustrations are very detailed and perfect. One example is when Heidi is trying to make her cookies much better and all of the ingredients are scattered all around her bedroom. I really like this book because it teaches you to never give up. In the story Heidi never gave up because she keeps on trying to fix her cookies over and over again!

I would recommend this book to 2nd graders and 3rd graders. I also recommend the Heidi Heckelbeck series because it is very funny. I think that people will love it. If you think that this book sounds good, you could go and get it at a book store or at a library.
