The Pain and the Great One

Keep up with The Pain and The Great One! The Pain and the Great One don’t get along very well. They are actually brother and sister and they are opposites! The Pain hates getting hair cuts, but the Great one doesn’t mind them. The Pain and the Great One [that’s just their nicknames] are either getting a haircut, riding a bike, having a birthday party, or dog sitting. One day [on the Great One’s birthday] the Pain says he doesn’t feel well. The Great One thinks he’s just saying that. “Sometimes I think they love him more than me,’’ the Great one says. “Sometimes I think they love her more than me,’’ the Pain says. You should read this book to find out more about these two opposites!

I think this book is funny because the Pain and the Great one are always teasing each other and it’s funny the way they do it. I think the book is weird because the hairdresser sings and dances while he works. I also think this book is crazy because the Pain and the Great one both do crazy things like when the Pain calls the Great One “Spider Poop Soup”.

I would recommend this book to my friend Layla because she has a little brother who acts like The Pain. I would recommend this book to my friend Sarah because she likes to laugh. I would recommend this book to my friend Julia because she likes to roller skate.
