This story is about a deer in the forest. The deer is walking and sees a cardinal in the forest. Then the deer sees a rabbit. After, he runs into a snowman and the deer flies on the snowman. The deer sees a mouse creeping around and then spots a chickadee bird on the tree. The deer sees a porcupine. Finally he sees a mitten in the forest and there is a stranger in the woods.
My favorite part is when the stranger is in the woods because it is funny. The snowman is my least favorite character because it does not do anything. This story relates to my life because I love the woods. The pictures helped me see what was happening.
I think others should read this story because it is a great book. It is fun and awesome to read.
