Have you ever gotten into really big trouble? The book Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey is about two boys named George and Harold who have a really mean principal who gets them into big trouble! In the beginning, George and Harold do a really horrible prank. Their principal, Mr. Krupp finds out what they did and makes George and Harold do horrible chores as a consequence. However, George and Harold find a way to turn Mr. Krupp into their comic book character Captain Underpants. First, it was hysterical but then it got out of control. Captain Underpants escapes to fight crime! In the end, Captain Underpants gets captured by Dr. Diaper and his robots. George and Harold save Captain Underpants but, that is not all, Dr. Diaper’s machine is about to explode! In conclusion, Captain Underpants is an awesome book. You can read this book to find out if George, Harold and Captain Underpants make it out alive!
In my opinion, The Adventures of Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey is a book you can’t miss! To begin with, the author Dav Pilkey is, very humorous. For example, this is what people thought Captain Underpants was, “Look up in the sky, it’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s an egg salad sandwich!” Captain Underpants replied, “No way, I am... Captain Underpants!” Also, you can learn to use your imagination. For example, George and Harold make comic book characters that nobody can think of like, Captain Underpants and Dr. Diaper. Most importantly, it teaches you about consequences. For instance, George and Harold did a really horrible prank and had to do chores as a consequence. In conclusion, The Adventures of Captain Underpants by Dav Pikey is definitely a book you can not miss!
